About Vaughn Anderson

Vaughn Anderson writes heartfelt romance and fantasy about resilience, found family, and the courage it takes to choose love—even after life’s hardest moments.

Inspired by the love she grew up watching between her parents, Vaughn’s stories are filled with strong women, protective heroes, and emotionally powerful journeys toward healing and happiness. Her father, her biggest supporter, once told her that no matter what life brings, dreams are always worth pursuing. That encouragement stayed with her—and eventually led her to write the stories she had always carried in her heart.

Today, Vaughn creates worlds where love grows through adversity, families are built in unexpected ways and hope always finds its way back.

When she isn’t writing, Vaughn enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and caring for her service dog Ariel and her other beloved animals. Whether she’s writing contemporary romance or epic fantasy, her stories share one common thread: love that endures, heals, and makes room for something beautiful to grow.

Beyond writing, Vaughn is also a passionate advocate for POTS and Dysautonomia awareness. Living with a chronic illness has strengthened her belief in resilience, compassion, and the power of hope—themes that often find their way into her stories.

Readers who enjoy heartfelt romance, found family, protective heroes, and emotionally rich fantasy adventures will feel right at home in Vaughn Anderson’s stories.

Why I Write

The reason I began writing again is deeply personal.

When my daddy was battling pancreatic cancer, I stayed with him through nearly the entire fight. During that last year we practically lived at the hospital. In the evenings we would sit together, talking, debating, and watching old movies.

One night, while Gone With the Wind happened to be on television, he told me something that stayed with me. He said I should start writing again.

He had always wanted to write a western novel himself, and during his hospital stays we talked about it many times. Writing was something we both loved, even when life pulled us in different directions.

About a year after he passed away, I picked up a pen and a notebook.

I wrote just one sentence.

"I'm going to write just for you, Daddy."

And that was how I started again.

Every story I write carries a little piece of that promise with it.

That promise became the beginning of everything that followed.

Today, every story I write carries the same heart behind it—stories about resilience, found family, second chances, and the courage it takes to choose love even after life’s hardest moments.
